You will be responsible for both in-country operations and Head Office functional departments to maximize performance opportunities towards profitable growth. The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Supporting the Head of Finance with all Business Controlling activities in conjunction with the Business Controller for Commercial activities
• Being responsible for the delivery of cost effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements for AMS
• Overseeing the continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output
• Preparing and presenting business plans, investment memoranda, feasibility studies, financial plans, annual budgets and other financial or business documents to Head of Finance as required
• Controlling the profit and loss reporting process and meeting with profit centers to deliver budget to plan
• Supervising monthly close activities including preparation and posting of journals (although limited), identification of accruals and prepayments and cost assurance activities to ensure that results are complete, accurate and in line with trading results
• Coordinating all AMS planning processes ensuring input and commitment from the Senior Management team driving increased revenue and profitability
The position will report to the Head of Finance and be located in the Dubai Head Office.
