My client, a prestige multinational commercial business are currently seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join their team in Doha, Qatar.
This job requires a self starter who can work independently without significant supervision. The job requires the ability to work with people from all departments within the company and communication skills are extremely important. This position has a very high visibility with frequent interaction with senior management of the company and regional management. The person should be able to work under the pressure of tight deadlines with the ability to deliver quality analyses and reports in limited time.
Key responsibilities:
• Participate in preparation of monthly forecast package working with all departments within the Company
• Investigate and explain reasons of variances from prior forecast, plan and prior periods
• Analyze forward looking indicators e.g. orders to provide visibility into accuracy of forecast
• Daily monitoring and reporting of progress against forecast
• Participate in preparation in annual plan package working with all departments with the Company
• Serve as a databank for the company by extracting data from SAGE
• Improve visibility through monthly business unit wise P&L
• Active involvement in month end closing
• Prepare monthly financial analysis like inventory turnover, days sales outstanding, days payable outstanding etc.
• Participating in internal controls and SOXA requirements
• Preparing and compiling presentations for senior management for reviews with the regional office and board of directors
