SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF WORK:
Assist the waiter in all basic duties of the outlet operation. He is the "errand man" for the waiter between the kitchen and the outlet.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Sees that the mis-en-place is correct and complete in his station including water, condiments as per requirement.
2. Cleans up the dirty equipment from his station avoiding noise as much as possible.
3. Helps the waiter to clear up, resets the table, pick up the order from the waiter in a proper way.
4. Keeps his station clean at all times including the floor
5. Makes sure that all equipments in the stewarding area under his responsibility are clean and polished.
6. Exchanges dirty linen according to the schedule.
7. In charge in clearing up the tables and set up again.
8. Picking up requisition from the store.
9. Makes sure that his uniform is clean and in good condition at all times.
10. Attends any meeting or training sessions arranged by the management.
11. Follows any instruction given by his supervisor.
12. Present the menu to the guest.
13. Help the hostess and Outlet Manager to assist the guest and guide them to their tables.
14. Pick up the food from the kitchen for the waiter.
15. Clearing the tables after every course and take the used dishes and silver wares to the dishwashing area.
16. Clean and tidy the side station.
17. Serve the guest during operation.
GENERAL DUTIES :
1. To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the company policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
2. To be punctual on duty, wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
3. To maintain high standard quality of work at all times.
4. To maintain good rapport and working relationship with co-employee and superior.
5. To attend and participate in staff meetings, departmental and restaurant training schedules and other related activities.
6. To perform the given task and secondary duties and responsibilities assigned.
7. To respond to any changes in your role as it was implemented by the company.
8. To maintain positive and motivated attitude at all times.
9. To have a full understanding in Operations manual regarding company policies and regulation.
