SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF WORK:
To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following the company's standards policies & procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
MAIN DUTIES:
1. Welcomes guests with a friendly manner and escorts them to a table and seat them.
2. To be available at the entrance always.
3. Courteously answer the phone and takes reservations but making sure to enter data in the logbook neatly and accurately.
4. Taking the order from the guest and properly endorses it to the waiter when the restaurant is busy.
5. Taking care of special requests that guests may have and do suggestive selling.
6. Assist the waiter during busy time.
7. Make sure that the menu for reservation is printed and rolled properly.
8. Preparing and presenting the bill to the guest with comments' card and to take back the check to the cashier.
9. Taking care of flowers during functions.
10. Serving all kinds of fruits and sweets to the guests.
11. Attends meetings and training sessions arranged by the management
12. Follows the instructions given by the Restaurant Manager.
GENERAL DUTIES :
1. To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the company policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
2. To be punctual on duty, wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
3. To maintain high standard quality of work at all times.
4. To maintain good rapport and working relationship with co-employee and superior.
5. To attend and participate in staff meetings, departmental and restaurant training schedules and other related activities.
6. To perform the given task and secondary duties and responsibilities assigned.
7. To respond to any changes in your role as it was implemented by the company.
8. To maintain positive and motivated attitude at all times.
9. To have a full understanding in Operations manual regarding company policies and regulation.
