Our client is a leading global company within the construction and maintenance of roads, highways and railway infrastructures and industrial shipping, manufacturing and production. They have an exceptional reputation globally and work on urban development and growth projects.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior professional with relevant experience for the position of Managing Director for their South African country operation.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The business has already been developed in South Africa with a multi million turnover, 200+ staff, 3 production plants and 4 large storage/ holding facilities. They supply products to clients in road, highway and civil construction industries using leverage from their leading global name.
The strategy for the year ahead is to develop and grow the company into new areas and become an even more dominant operator.
The position reports to the Company Africa Country Director and will oversee direct reports covering Technical, HR, Safety and Operations. This role will have full P&L responsibility and oversee all company areas: Budget, cash flow, workforce, strategy, marketing, business development, lobbying, investment, purchasing, supplying, production, safety, etc.
