Our Client is a LNG Operating Company has an immediate requirement for:

Job Purpose:
The Project Controls Engineer coordinates all aspects of Project Controls including reporting and, cost control, for the Flow Assurance Project (FAP) Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract(s). This includes development, maintenance, monitoring, controlling and integration of the EPC Contract(s) reporting and cost control for the overall FAP project controls system, including verification and reporting.

Key Result Areas:

- Provides Project Controls expertise to the FAP PMT
- Reviews Contractor(s) project control procedures (home office and field control procedures) to ensure that FAP's requirements are met
- Ensures that the project control procedures are executed by the Contractor(s) to monitor its schedule control activities and progress reporting
- Coordinates, monitors, and assesses Contractor(s) efforts in development of the project controls systems and change order management systems
- Advises the EPC Contractor's organization with respect to adequacy of project controls tools and reports
- Reviews and, where appropriate, endorses schedule, progress and cost baselines and forecast prepared by the Contractor
- Analyzes cost, schedule and progress trends developed by the Contractor
- Reviews and endorses measured progress reported by the Contractor
- Reviews and interrogates the cost and schedule basis of Contractor(s) change requests/proposals - reviews and endorses change orders
- Reviews, analyzes, and endorses Contractor(s) invoices and ensures consistency with approved earned progress
- Assists PMT in developing/reviewing cost and schedule corrective actions and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented.
- Supports Business Lead with ongoing project cost analysis, reporting, forecasting, and change management
- Analyzes cost and schedule trends, develop and review cost and schedule forecasts
- Reviews and monitors cost and schedule implications of changes. Provides timely advice on cost and schedule impact of changes, modifications or alternatives and maintains project trend and change order log
- Coordinate preparation of PMT weekly and monthly reports and input to Venture Business
- Prepares and coordinate input for Project Status Review presentation packages
- Prepares input of monthly cost reports (budgets, forecast, expenditures, and commitments)
- Prepares monthly estimates of Work-In-Place (WIP) for Owner and 3rd-party costs
- Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectation as required, especially RGEE Element 4 (Information & Documents) and 7 (Management of Change)
- Responds to ad hoc requests from PMT related to Controls/Reporting
- Promotes inter-departmental communications and encourages teamwork
- Establishes clear communications between the PMTs and Contractor(s)
- Participates in gathering and recording lessons learned for the project
- Deputize for Business Lead during his absence
