Electrical & Instrument Supervisor - Brunel Energy Sep 19th 2013, 06:09 Description The development of the reservoirs is considered to be one of the major technical challenges in UAE, The field is the second largest field in the Gulf and the fourth largest field in the World. The project aims to increase oil production from the field to 750,000 barrels per day and to sustain this level of production for at least 25 years. Job Serve as day-to-day interface with Contractor electrical and instrumentation craft labor providing a focus on safety and quality Ensure that procedures and processes are understood and followed by the construction personnel Monitor and ensure compliance with specification, procedures, and plans Provide on-site knowledge of project specific electrical and instrumentation installation requirements Champion project HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with Company's and Contractor's HSE plans and procedures Interface with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues/progress Monitor workforce progress as relative to schedule Verify arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment Implement field surveillance plans Assist with incident response case management Assist with change process at the work site Ensure Contractor's on site planning activities are appropriate to meet objectives Provide safety monitoring/leadership/coaching as well as participate in safety meetings Participate, coach and assist Contractor personnel in effective pre-task planning measures in JSA's, and toolbox meetings Participate in on site Risk Assessments and JSA development Assist in implementation of emergency response plans as needed Monitor environmental compliance as required Monitor site condition / readiness Record data for inclusion of "lessons learned" Record data for inclusion in the preparation of close-out report Job Details Date Posted: 2013-09-19 Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Energy Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Apply Now - Jobs in UAE - Engineering Jobs in UAE - Search All Jobs
