Role Summary/Purpose
Chiefly responsible for leading and drafting of commercial transactions, emphasizing on Risk Management and ensuring rigor and compliance with GE internal policies and applicable laws.
Essential Responsibilities
? Lead and navigate the GE Healthcare commercial contracting process by ensuring that all appropriate stakeholders and functions have visibility to high impact contractual terms pursuant to internal policies and best practices. ? Provide advice and counsel on various other legal issues and acceptable business practices. ? Support the GEHC commercial policies and procedures, and make sure that those policies and procedures are being followed internally. ? Maintain commercial policies and help drive process improvements in order to make the contracting process more streamline and efficient. ? Draft and negotiate a full spectrum of business-related agreements on behalf of GE Healthcare. ? Proactively anticipate the perspectives and needs of every appropriate internal stakeholder, and collaborate with each of them to reach the most favorable agreements. ? Develop best practices and process improvements for the contracting process. ? Manage Workflow requests, contract clause libraries and master agreement database; ? Validate contractual requirements; highlight risks to the commercial team, when it comes to penalties or other aspects of the contract and Revise documents based on comments from approvers ? Manage internal Commercial contracting workflow process of terms and conditions prior to contract signature for direct sales with the commercial, legal and finance teams ? Ensure compliance with public procurement requirements when dealing with gove
