Norconsulting is urgently looking for one of the the largest Power Generation companies in the world for a Head of Field Services with experience in the Thermal Power Sector.
Education, Training
• University graduation in engineering (mechanical or electrical)
• Minimum of 15 years working experience in Power Generation/ Power Service Sector.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in site execution out of which 3-5 years preferably in active Field Service
• Minimum of 6 years managerial responsibility on department/cost center level
• Experiences in Project Management are of advantage
Abilities / Skills
• Structured, focused and convincing attitude together with positive overall approach
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to take responsibility and make decisions
• Technical Knowledge on one of the key components in a power stations (GT, ST, Generator)
• Reliable and able to define priorities, strong team player with ability to convince and influence
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Advanced working experience in an intercultural environment
• Flexibility to travel within Area Middle East
• Flexibility of adapting working time to business demands
• Very good knowledge of common IT office tools (MS office including project, excel and outlook)
• Very good knowledge of SAP system and common business software tools
• Fluent in English
