Job Profile:
-The Project Planner for a complex Governmental education project will be responsible to schedule the overall project over a period of 4, 5 years using Microsoft Project planning software.
-Besides the Project Master Schedule the Project Planner has to establish a comprehensive delivery schedule for sophisticated simulation equipment, language laboratories, a set of technical laboratories (electric, electronic, hydro-pneumatic, navigation), welding, mechanical and electrical workshops, up to 10 multi-functional classrooms and more than 50 offices. This includes purchasing, engineering, construction, delivery, installation and setting-to-work payment related milestones and periods.
-In addition the Project Planner has to create a comprehensive Master Staff Schedule for an academy, a school and a group of experts, in which the employment of in total more than 50 professors, teachers, specialists and other staff, has to be set-up sequentially in accordance with the training and education programme.
-Finally the Project Planner has to maintain the delivery schedule for a Training Ship built in Germany, including the participation of Qatari construction supervision personnel and the ship crew, Classification Society, building yard and the purchaser. This schedule will also contain a set of milestones relevant for payments, like design lead time, workshop start, keel-laying, undocking, test and trials, sea trials, delivery and transfer to Qatar.

The Project Planner will have an active and leading role in the creation of a high-profile professional school with the most modern simulation and training equipment available in the market, the institutional recognition of professional training and education by the State of Qatar and certified in accordance with ISO regulations.
The learning and teaching environment is characterized by a brand new and state-of-the art building and learning infrastructure, carefully selected academic, support and administration personnel including the intense participation in the recruitment process.
The building infrastructure will be in the responsibility of the customer - the State of Qatar - and the Project Planner will be the decisive person at the interface to the learning infrastructure provided by us.
