Role Purpose:
Manage the supply process by optimizing the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to customer, balancing supply and demand.
- Key Accountability
Timely preparation of purchase orders to the suppliers after checking the backorders & stock average accurately
Responsible to ensure that stock are maintained at optimal level at the distribution center.
Compare the order sent to the supplier & the confirmation received. Highlight any deviation in the order confirmation received from the order sent to the supplier & proactively communicate to the sales
Follow up with Suppliers to ensure fulfillment of order on time.
Ensure timely response to all principles inquiries
Highlight the priority SKU's to the supplier & the suggested shipping schedule.
Analyze Penalties on time
Maintain item information accuracy i.e., Cat. No. /Pack Size
To ensure the stocks are under agreed limits.
Follow up with warehouse team for short dated SKU's & follow up with the liquidation plan with the sales team.
Plan all the needed stock transfer to maintain the right stock level at the branches
Monitor the stock position and highlight any major shortages/excess
Close follow up on Temperature controlled shipments till receiving QC results.
Recall - follow up till completion ie. Re-export.
Perform any other requests or tasks given by his direct supervisor.
