SUMMARY
Plans and designs buildings, provides concepts, plans, specifications and detailed drawings, and advises on the procurement of buildings. The candidate should be inventive and imaginative, have strong visual awareness and an eye for detail and have good drawing skills with the ability to work in three dimensions (3D).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine factors such as design requirements, project site and budget,
- Determine functional and spatial requirements of structure,
- Obtain and prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time,
- Prepare RFP's for consultants and contractors for each project,
- Prepare and present design proposals and plan layout of project,
- Supervise the integration of engineering element into unified design,
- Analyze technical implications of design concept,
- Prepare cost estimates, contracts, bidding documents and technical reports for specific projects,
- Prepare contract documents for building contractors,
obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts,
coordinate the building process,
- Reviewing operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports,
- Develop marketing tools (Designing: brochures, newsletters, flyers… etc.),
- Develop image rendering and video montage for projects,
- Assisting with internal and external office duties along with generating periodical reports and presentations.
