Logistics Coordinator - Midas Safety Middle East Apr 23rd 2013, 05:27  Processes the purchase orders by liaising with Purchasing team and update ETD and ETA in SAP.  Ensures the timely flow of goods and services from the vendor/supplier to destination warehouse  Reviews processes regularly to streamline, improve throughput and reduce paper work and rework.  Evaluates vendor delivery performance to assure highest possible service level and Identifies lead-time, process and cost improvement opportunities.  Prepares and sends clearance documents for materials which are transported by road or air, or shipped by sea.  Analyzes the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes and carriers.  Tracks and manages inbound loads ensuring: timeliness, cost effectiveness; monitoring and reporting vendor delivery performance deficiencies  Manages shipment and transportation to reduce transit time  Performs other duties as assigned Job Details Date Posted: 2013-04-23 Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Role: Logistics Company Industry: Retail/Wholesale; Other Monthly Salary: US $2,000 Joining Date: 2013-05-25 Preferred Candidate Career Level: Entry Level Nationality: India; Sri Lanka; Philippines Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in UAE - Search All Jobs
