Baker Hughes Corporate is currently seeking a Total Rewards Manager to cover the Middle East & Africa Regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
The successful jobholder would report to the Eastern Hemisphere Total Rewards Director and will be responsible for the implementation of regional and global compensation and benefits strategies in the Middle East and Africa Regions by managing the development, implementation and ongoing support for local benefits and compensation programs within the corporate global governance structure (e.g. medical, dental, life, disability, employee assistance, bonus programs and pension).
In addition, The jobholder would provide technical compensation planning and benefits consulting to Middle East and Africa Geomarket HR Managers as follows:
Management of annual compensation review processes, e.g. merit, bonus issue and payment, compensation review and benefits review.
Determination and recommendation of annual salary budget requirements.
Development and recommendation of benefits program changes, upgrades as well as implement new benefits and ensure consistency within the countries in Middle East and Africa.
Analysis and evaluation salary structures for unique positions to ensure parity with competitive market practices.
Project Management and implementations as part of Global Programs.
Provide technical knowledge of regulations governing benefits.
Participation in salary and benefits surveys and provision of market data.
Manage vendor relationships with consultants, third party administrators and benefits plan providers.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
10+ years work experience in Human Resources or related field.
The ideal candidate would be a graduate with extensive benefits and compensation experience preferably in a corporate setting during which he/she should have acquired broad knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, ideally in Middle East, Africa or other emerging market environments.
Professional certification from Global bodies such as SHRM, CIPD or WorldatWork is desirable.
To be considered for this job, you should have strong judgment and analytical skills, demonstrable project management capabilities, complex problem-solving experience, commitment to customer service and proven ability to balance hands-on.
Detail oriented and delivery focused approach with a broader and long-term tactical and strategic perspective.
Country or region-level experience with compensation and benefits programs, practices and philosophies is a prerequisite for the role.
An excellent grasp of compensation and benefit practices and regulations in the Middle East or Africa would be advantageous.
