Description and Desired Qualifications
Job Purpose:
Halcrow (a CH2M HILL Company) is tendering for the design (from Preliminary) and construction supervision for urban or sub-urban projects and will require interface management with stakeholders and adjacent projects.
This requisition form is for the role of Quality Manager. The Quality Manager is required to manage the establishment and implementation of Quality control and quality assurance across the project design teams, and ensure that quality reporting is being effectively conducted and being reflected in the design. The Quality Manager will use their experience to assist in reviews and in the identification and mitigation of quality control issues. The Quality Manager also establishes the Quality Control procedures in consultation with the HSE Manager, the Project Controls Manager and the Project Manager.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The Quality Manager reports to the Project Manager.
Responsible for the effective establishment and implementation of Quality Control procedures
Basic Qualifications
Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or related field) and be a Certified Quality Professional (CQP) with lead auditor qualifications.
Minimum 10 years post graduation experience in QA/QC on major construction projects.
Posses excellent working knowledge of industry practices/ safety and quality management systems. Experienced in the establishment of Project Quality Plans, procedures, audit schedules and monitoring the internal QMS. Be able to identify causes of non-compliances, identify corrective actions, organize management reviews and manage lessons learned programmes.
Must be computer literate.
