ABOUT THIS JOB

Baker Hughes has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager Upstream Chemicals to join our operations in Algeria.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES


Responsible for technical and organizational management and financial aspects of the activities.
Oversee work of project managers and their project teams
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsibilities may include employee management and development, inventory management, sales, engineering, maintenance, operations, service, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E), quality training, planning and budget management
Maintain and enhance existing business contracts and customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the area
Prepare, monitor and control district financial plans, including local/direct revenues, marketing expenses, head count and profitability
Responsible for oversight and enforcement of all HS&E, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, HR, Financial and Compliance policies that relate to area of responsibility
Manage and provide oversight to personnel development and ensure proper succession planning
Oversee planning and implementation of the business plan
Participate actively in quality improvement efforts
Chairperson of shift meetingsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Associate's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
5+ years of work experience in Upstream Chemicals (including time working in a project environment, with at least 5 years of experience managing projects).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS


The ability to manage complex projects and programs.
Ability to analyze financial information
Certification in Project Management
Individual must have strong interpersonal skills, negotiating skills, and organizational skills with the ability to influence others.
Supervisory training and a working knowledge of instrumentation, pumps, monitors, relief valves, and compressors
Analyse requirements with the project sponsor/customer or senior colleagues, designs the implementation
