Our client is an established name in the medical sector currently looking for a certified, licensed dermatologist to lead their dermatology and skin center specialist practice. The successful candidate, preferably a female must have the knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures. Having frequent interactions with patients and clients, she should possess the relevant customer and personal service skills in order to provide the best client experience. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat general and abnormal skin conditions.
• Conduct complete skin examinations and other related surgeries such as cosmetic procedures if necessary.
• Examine clients' skin, using magnifying lamps or visors when necessary, to evaluate skin condition and appearance.
• Counsel patients on topics such as the need for annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness, or skin and lymph node self-examinations.
• Record patients' health histories.
• Perform skin surgery to improve appearance, make early diagnoses, or control diseases such as skin cancer.
• Prescribe hormonal agents or topical treatments such as contraceptives, spironolactone, antiandrogens, oral corticosteroids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and antibiotics.
• Recommend diagnostic tests based on patients' histories and physical examination findings.
• Provide dermatologic consultation to other health professionals.
• Stay abreast of latest industry trends, products, research, and treatments.
• Treat the facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, using specialized techniques and products, such as peels and masks.
Minimum Qualifications
• Doctor of Dermatology, licensed to practice from the Saudi Ministry of Health or other relevant accreditations
• 5+ years professional experience in the healthcare/hospital sector
