Our client is a leading Holding Company in Saudi Arabia with a broad range of industries and an excellent reputation.
We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to: President & CEO

OVERVIEW
• To plan and manage all activities relating to the Group's corporate marketing and communications and provide effective services to all stakeholders while ensuring that a consistent corporate image, branding and identity is maintained at the Group level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy, Planning and Policy
• Develop the Group marketing and communication strategy and plans with input from the President and CEO and ensure that they are in-line with the overall business strategy and objectives of the Group.
• Develop corporate marketing and communications policies and guidelines to be implemented across the Group

Operations
• Establish and maintain a corporate brand and identity for the Group, and ensure that a consistent image is reflected in all documentation and communication material across the Group and SBUs in liaison with the SBU marketing representatives.
• Develop the department's budget and monitor and manage any variances from the estimates.
• Manage all aspects of corporate marketing and internal and external communications including publicity, conferences and seminars and relationship with the media and other external stakeholders.
• Manage the relationship with external Public Relations agencies.
• Manage the production of high quality communication materials to potential clients and investors; ensure that all client-related documents/publications are well laid-out in terms of design, artwork, printing and publication.
• Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of communication on SBUs and HoldCo accomplishments to the relevant stakeholders and external parties.
• Work closely with media sources to ensure strong relationships are established and maintained with external interest groups, the public and the media.
• Manage all employee communication and engagement initiatives targeting staff at a Group level through periodic newsletters and off-site events.
• Oversee activities pertaining to market research and provide the Group's executives with relevant updates on market trends using off-shelf surveys and customized market research.
• Work closely with ICT to oversee Holdco's website and ensure that it is updated on a frequent basis.
• Liaise with other on-line business portals such as Zawya, AME Info, and Arabian Business etc., to ensure that the latest information about Holdco is available on-line.
• Raise the profile of the Group through active participation in various business/social forums, seminars and events for maximum exposure and coverage.
• Identify new marketing channels and drive their development in collaboration with SBUs
• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of corporate marketing, communications and promotion methods, costs, and results at the Group level

People Management
• Manage and monitor staff on dimensions including time management, quality of work, etc. in order to ensure that business development activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor the performance of staff on an on-going basis, conduct performance reviews of agreed goals and competencies and ensure that all staff are working towards an individual development plan.
• Identify the training and developmental priorities of the division in consultation with the Human Resources department and ensure that staff are adequately skilled to meet future requirements.
• Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance and ensure they keep abreast of technical developments, relevant regulations and industry best practice.
