Mission statement:
The Account Manager's role is to secure business by ensuring orders and revenue growth of company products and services.
The main duties are to achieve SETS objectives and Sales targets, by developing market penetration plans, designing sales strategies, analysing and meeting customer needs.
Responsibilities:
-Manage a portfolio of accounts
-Manage the work of account executives
-Achieve sales targets
-Deliver sales presentations to account executives and sales presentation to customers.
-Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients
-Develop relationships with loyal clients; ask for their feedbacks
-Ensure clients' requirements.
-Follow the defined Sales Cycle:
-Conduct reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate clients' requests
-Identify development potential to maximize the profit of the company and clients' satisfaction;
-Answer clients' questions and ensure that their problems are solved; conduct follow-up tasks
-Prepare reports related to the IT market, to competitors and to market trends
-Develop and maintain a well-coordinated relationship with key decision makers
-Ensure that clients know how to use the services and provide assistance if necessary
-Responsible for collections
-Work closely with the team, sales coordinator and sales manager in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status and to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
-Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable
-Communicate the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team and the management
-Stay up to date with the competitor's prices, products and services.
-Check and identify accounts that are likely to become a bad debt or "zero balance" account and contact the clients to retain them
